Newcastle 1995/97 home shirt. This is probably the most iconic jersey in arguably the most successful period for Newcastle United in recent years.
Whilst wearing this beauty from Adidas, Newcastle saw heavy investment in their team which brought players such as Les Ferdinand, David Ginola and David Batty to the club.
Newcastle were in the title race all the way to the last game of the season, but fell short and finished runners-up to Manchester United.
The kit is from the same era as Kevin Keegan’s famous “I would love it if we beat them” interview rant after their match vs. Leeds United.
